Our target is WCAG 2.2 AA. We have not completed verification of the current J4 screens, so we do not claim full conformance.

What has been tested
The last recorded browser review was . It covered public pages and signed-in readings, editor, tracker, Job Match, writer and account screens using automated checks and keyboard navigation.
That review predates the latest J4 changes. Updated checks at 390 and 1440 pixels, reduced motion and the main keyboard journeys are still pending. Passing code and template tests does not establish browser or screen-reader accessibility.
Known issues and checks still needed
- Some small controls in the legacy layout were below our 44-pixel phone target on 26 September. The J4 controls need a fresh size and focus check.
- The wider job page had an unnamed navigation toggle and a skip link with a missing target on 26 September. These are tracked with the jobs-page owner; resolution is unverified.
- Reading updates arriving after the page loads still need a screen-reader and keyboard check. You can continue using the reading while an update is unavailable.
- The new help drawer and free-reading upgrade dialog need a recorded keyboard pass for opening, Escape, focus containment and focus return.
We cannot report zero critical findings for the current screens until those checks have run. This statement was updated on 27 September 2026 to keep those gaps visible.
